I did finally play the demo on the Xbox 360. The graphics are beautiful and the story line is entertaining. However, and maybe this is just my hangup, but I don’t like playing this style of game on a console. I much prefer a mouse and keyboard.

chad purvis and I did some testing today on a MacBook Air with no songs on the laptop. After adding the computer to my iCloud account, it does stream the music and does NOT download it unless you tell it to.

I just looked at this and there’s no record from my IP in Atlanta, though I’ve downloaded many-a-Linux-distro via BitTorrent over the last year. I’m not so sure it’s a big deal, and the privacy hounds may beat this down before it collects too much. We can only hope…

Open source and/or free software is great but the trade off is usually service and support. I know Skype isn’t open source but I don’t use their premium service nor have I ever contacted their support. Your post did remind me to change my passwords regularly!

I do have some of Adele’s songs, so I’ll have to check this for myself, but if the songs are still DRM’d (yes, some artists still haven’t allowed DRM to be removed from their songs) and they were purchased under another Apple ID, then that could be the issue. A workaround is to burn a CD, then import the songs back into iTunes and they should match after that. It’s up to you if you want to delete the originally purchased songs.

I just downloaded the Adele 19 and 21 albums from iTunes a few weeks ago…but all of the songs from the 19 album have the “not eligible for iCloud” icon. Same for Amy Winehouse “Back in Black” that I bought from iTunes. I find it frustrating that entire albums I purchased from iTunes aren’t eligible. Is there any way around this problem?
